I have a song I wrote, a Christmas a cappella doo wop song. I like and sing with a group and they like it. I’ve been trying to get it professionally recorded for a couple of years now… it hasn’t happened.
I have low level professional recording equipment, I’m no recording engineer, the self recording I made of the Christmas song years ago is okay, but only to give people an idea. I’d like to get a recording out ther for people to hear… and buy.
I have a website, in fact, you’re reading from it right now. I have had quite a few sites with limited success for different groups, etc. I’d like too see more success there.
I have a podcast with a small, loyal following… it’s about voice. I’d like to see that audience grow, but can’t seem to get past a leveling off I’ve just hit.
I have a lot of frustrations based on all the previous ‘I have’s…Feeling like they’re not reaching their potential and spreading me pretty thin in too many directions.
I have had an idea… instead of working in different directions with all these, it makes sense to have them work altogether.
I have decided to self-record a CD’s worth of a cappella holiday music, including two original pieces, use a revamped blog and podcast to track the progress, market the end product, and sell the end product.
I have given myself the month of November to get it to that point.
I have a lot to learn.
I have a lot of support from friends.
I have an undiscovered success.
(And now)
I have a format for a weekly summary.
I have a beginning…
